What the work is

Indigenisation of parts by reverse engineering

Indigenisation is making the part when the original manufacturer no longer supplies it: the component is measured, drawn with tolerances, specified for material and treatment, made, checked and fitted.

The discipline is in separating wear from design intent. A part copied from a worn original reproduces the fault that brought it in.

It is named first on the ISO 9001:2015 certified scope and has been on record since 2015.

The more specific the enquiry, the more specific the answer. Vague requests get honest questions back rather than a number.
